COVID-19 Resources

Porter-Leath empowers children and families to achieve a healthy, optimal and independent lifestyle. To ensure the health and safety of our students, families and employees, Porter-Leath preschool sites will remain closed and most program services will be provided remotely until further notice. While no COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) exposures have been identified, this closure and move to remote services is a proactive and preemptive measure. Porter-Leath will continue actively monitoring for updates related to COVID-19, while thoroughly sanitizing all facilities.

Discovery, prevention and treatment of COVID-19 has changed the lives of families, children and caregivers across the globe. As our worlds evolve into a "new normal," we are committed to providing assistance to children and families whenever possible.

Porter-Leath has created a hotline to supplement our remote programming. Porter-Leath families can reach a member of our staff during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:30 PM) by calling (901) 577-2500 and choosing Option 4.

COVID-19 Resources for Head Start Parents & Caregivers

The National Head Start Association (NHSA) has been working with members of Congress and their staff to address the needs of Head Start programs, staff, children, and families. The good news is that many new resources and supportive services are either available now or on their way. Review these resources to learn how you can access the aid during this challenging time.
