Early Head Start Launches, Porter-Leath Selected as First Grantee
Porter-Leath is selected to become the first ever Early Head Start grantee in Shelby County. Porter-Leath constructs a new facility on the Manassas campus and opens in 1999 to serve 56 children ages 0-3 and their families.
